One of the prime advantages of powder coating at BG Technology is time efficiency. Our automatic 4-zone pre-treatment wash expedites the preparation of your piece for painting. The coating is applied using both electrostatic and tribo methods.

Powder coating involves the application of electrically charged powder paint particles (20-100 μm) onto a conductive surface, such as metal. The deposited powder layer adheres to the surface of the painted item due to electrostatic forces.

Two fundamental electrification and powder coating techniques are employed in our powder coating process:

1. Electrostatic spraying – high-voltage method (40-100 kV), commonly known as „Crown”,
2. Electrokinetic spraying – Triboelectrification, friction-based method, referred to as „Tribo”.

Following the coating application, the painted elements are heated to temperatures ranging from 140 to 200°C, causing the powder to melt and polymerize. The resultant coating is resistant to corrosion, chemicals, high temperatures, and mechanical damage.
